Is any one willing/able to share some "rule of thumb" numbers for kegs required based off of projected bbls per year produced?
In our expansion effort we have initial investment purchasing 150 1/2 bbls, and 50 1/4 bbl kegs. 2012 we project 600 bbls in outside draft sales. 2013, 1500bbls
2014, 2700 bbls, 2015 3,200 bbls. We are trying to, as accurately as possible, project the incremental increase in kegs to purchase.
I am aware that 3 to 4 kegs per account is a minimum number. I have generalized regional data that points to 75 to 85 draft accounts equaling roughly 1000 bbls of beer sales. Does this seem realistic or off?
