Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, based in San Francisco since 1997, is looking for a full-time outside sales person to join our tight-knit team covering a large territory from the East Bay to the Central Coast.
This Market Manager position is responsible for fostering growth of our business across five distributor markets and must be able to work independently in the field servicing the best bars, restaurants, and retailers across the region.
Expectations:
Our ideal candidate will be adept at prospecting for new accounts, cultivating relationships and promoting the brand at tasting events and festivals. Also, we’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to be in front of a crowd and thrives on meeting people and making friends. We are a brand with youthful exuberance, excited about making our mark in the craft beer industry and want to find someone to join the crew who shares our passion.
Qualifications:
-Have at least two years sales/marketing experience
-Prior beer industry/brewing experience a huge plus
-Preference given to candidates with undergraduate in business and marketing
-Be passionate about craft beer and food
-Be organized, trustworthy and thrive while working independently
-Be willing and able to work events nights and weekends
-Be able to meet and exceed goals and expectations
-Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license/insurance
-Be able to lift 50+ pounds
-Be able to use Mac-based apps, manage high volumes of email and use MS Office Suite
-Live in the East Bay or South Bay or be willing to relocate
-Home brewing or prior beverage industry experience a huge plus
