About the Brewery
We run an open-to-the-public brewery and we make some of the most awarded craft beers brewed in Canada. Our beers are sold in most liquor stores across BC and there are many hotels, restaurants and bars that serve our beer in the Vancouver downtown, as well as the Sea to Sky area. Sadly, our head brewer of 5 years is off to bigger opportunities and so we have a key vacancy.
About the Position
We are looking for an experienced, qualified and passionate head brewer. You will lead a small team brewing existing and, on a seasonal basis, developing new beer recipes. You totally understand brewery sanitation practices and will be uncompromising in ensuring outstanding product quality. You are experienced in brewing, cellar management, sterile filtration, kegging and beer packaging in general. You will have the opportunity to represent the brewery at beer shows, trade events and festivals.
Applicants need to be Canadian citizens or have a current work permit. Ideally you would have a Brewmaster qualification and, if not have managed, then at least have worked in all key areas of brewery operations over a 3 – 5 year period.
