Marketing Representative - DFW, North Texas (you must live in the market area )
Primary Responsibilities :
- Assist distributor with the sales and marketing of all Real Ale products primarily in DFW and North Texas markets, other markets in the state as needed
- Schedule and attend on-premise and off-premise tastings and special events
- Organize special events to showcase Real Ale Brewing Company
- Create and maintain personal relationships with all accounts as you will be the face of Real Ale Brewing Company in the DFW, North Texas market
- Establish schedule for and perform market audits for all accounts
- Collect sales data and set goals for quarterly distributor meetings
- Working evenings and weekends in the DFW, North Texas market
- Responsible for an expense account for promotional and relationship development purposes
- Provide weekly reports to management
- Increase the number of on and off premise accounts
- Increase the number of core brands in the DFW, North Texas Market
- Increase the number of POS items in the market
- Preserving and developing the Real Ale image
- Maintaining new accounts and ensuring they will develop into long-term partners
- Develop knowledge of beer styles and competitors in the market
- Increase distribution displays, on- and off- premise features and promotions, staff trainings, beer dinners and POS management
Skills/Education/Competencies
- Education : Bachelor’s Degree is required
Technical Competencies
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Presentation skills including the ability to conduct creative and informative presentations for both on premise as well as to wholesalers and retail accounts
- Excellent business analytical skills
- Organizational and administrative skills
- Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills
Requirements:
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must hold a valid drivers license without any alcohol related offenses
- Must be able to drive long distances regularly
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. regularly
- Must be able to work outside of regular business hours which will include nights and weekends
- Must have a modern functioning vehicle
- Must provide space to function as a home office
