  • % of Sales???

What is a good number to work with for budgeting?

    1/2 keg vs 1/6 keg??

What do you sell more of?

    thanks,

Every market is different. I price my fives much higher per gallon, so only the people who need them buy them. (Usually in cities with expensive real estate.)
Pick any number you want and plan on selling that ratio, either by pricing or by targeting the places that can only fit fives in their tiny cooler. If your beer is good enough, they might later bump you up to a half.

      keg sizes

There are other threads on this site about this subject so please read them as well. I found, much to my surprise, that we are 60 percent sixths and 40 percent halfs. I am only in my home market, which I understand makes for higher percentages of halfs.
FYI: you cannot have too many kegs. Unless you spend all of your money on them and you go broke.
