Brewery Manager Cricket Hill Brewing Company
Cricket Hill Brewing Company in Fairfield NJ is seeking a Brewery Manager. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience in a production management role. The primary roles will be;
*Overseeing brewery staff day to day tasks, overseeing budgets and expenses, enforce the use of standard operating procedures (SOP's), responsible for creation and oversight of production schedules, maintains inventory of raw materials and packaging, is able to make decisions based on ROI, and is responsible for management of production staff.
*Handling all orders for our beer, including picking order, billing, inventory tracking/management and some deliveries.
*Coordinating event calendar, seeing some of our key retail accounts, keeping our website current, providing our information to publications and social websites.
Requirements:
• Have a love of beer
• Ability to effectively lead a team
• Three years production management experience required
• Able to quickly acquire knowledge of brewery production equipment
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Prioritize and coordinate daily production activities
• Ability to work under pressure and around tight deadlines
• Be able to use excel, quickbooks and similar technical tools for planning purposes
• Flexible work schedule to accommodate production as needed, i.e. be able to work beyond normal hours when necessary
• Knowledge of safety processes including hazardous materials
• Physical capability of lifting 60 pounds and/or moving 165 pounds
• Work on your feet for over ten hours at a time
• Work in a non conditioned warehouse environment
• Work in loud production environments
• Must be willing to pitch in on tasks outside your key responsibilities
