Gross Sales $$$ per Bbl?

**This is for production breweries and not brew pubs.

I'm trying to determine our projected gross sales per bbl and compare them to other breweries in the region.

From what I've found from other breweries, I'm seeing from $330-$350 Gross sales per bbl.

Does this sound correct?

Our initial sales projections are in the $230-$250 range.

Depends a bit on if you are selling to wholesalers or direct to bars/restaurants, and if you are doing 1/2 bbls or 5G kegs.

$170 per 15.5gal keg is definitely on the high side of things, no matter what is in the keg.

Income / barrel

with package product + distributor

18/case x 13.7 = 246

89/keg x 2 = 178

50/50 = 212

25/75 = 195

75/25 = 229

This is an educated guess, you must account for self dist./ distributor ratio also.
For a brewery that has some self dist. and some distributed product my guess is 220/bbl. having package product makes a big difference.
