  • Air stuck in new 2 zone FV's

I cant seem to get the air out of 3 new 30bbl FV's. They are 2 zoned, and I dont have a valve on top to bleed the air out. I cracked the top joint on the glycol exit last night with the inlet open and had no flow out of the tank. Could the proble be between the two zones? Any advice on getting the air out so I can get flow would be great.

    Cheers!

Have you tried flushing just water through the jackets using just city water pressure?

Ensure your glycol enters at the bottom glycol port of the tank and leaves through the top port.

Ensure there is sufficient pressure in your glycol line (pump working, bypass not fully open etc)

    Luck,

    Pax.

you can also flow glycol through, and look at the interior walls to see where the chilling is happening, and where it is not.

Also, you could have two distinct zones, with an in and out fitting for both. So in the bottom, then out the bottom to the top, then out the top to return.
