Pagosa Brewing Co & Grill (www.pagosabrewing.com) has an opportunity for an experienced Lead Brewer. Candidates need to have:

* Effective verbal communication & organizational skills
* Ability to work independently, as well as in a team-oriented environment
This position will consist of all aspects of brewing including, but not limited to, wort production, fermentation management, lab & computer duties, cellaring, scheduling, inventory, cost controls, kegging, self-distribution, participation at festivals & other special events. Currently, we are on-track to brew 750bbls this year on a sweet, customized 6bbl system. And, are looking to expand our operations as well. This year will be our 6th anniversary and our brewpub has a proven track record of producing national award-winning beers and excellent cuisine. The ideal candidate should a minimum of 2+ years brewing experience in a commercial environment. Formal brewing education is a plus. Wages will be commensurate with skills and experience.
Pagosa Springs, Colorado is located in the Four Corners Region (just to the west of Wolf Creek Ski area and north of Santa Fe, New Mexico.) Pagosa is a beautiful, family-friendly ski town with excellent schools and four full seasons of outdoor fun including, downhill & Nordic skiing, snowboarding, a 27-hole mountain view golf course, epic biking, boating, fishing, hunting, hiking & camping, along with world-class natural hot springs located right in-town. If you require a Wal-Mart, a shopping mall, or a multi-plex, you will not be happy here.
