Hoff-Steven Dip Tube Removal

Any long time Hoff-Stevens users out there ever replace their dip tubes? Just curious if there is a tool or instruction available somewhere on this.

make your own

You need 2 wire hangers
The first one you need tow cut the hook end off so you have a two prong to go into the top part, this you will used to guide it back in.
The second one you cut it below the hook wrapping then put a slight hook on the end, this you used to snag the pick up tube and in the end then pull it out the bunghole.

katfish59, Thanks for the reply. I had actually already done that but it doesn't really remove it for replacement. I was actually quite surprised how good they looked when I go the end out and looked at it. Being who knows how old, i figured they would be pretty skanky.
I would like to be able to dismantle, clean and reassemble these for regular use.
