Bootlegger’s Brewery in Fullerton, CA, a 4 year old rapidly growing microbrewery, is seeking energetic and motivated Sales Representatives to join our Southern California Sales Team in North Orange County, Downtown/West San Gabriel Valley and Westside Los Angeles. We've doubled our production each year and are currently moving into a new production facility that will allow us to expand our current capacity.
The Sales Representative shall be responsible for the promotion & sales of draft and bottled beer in both off and on premise accounts in an assigned territory. This individual is expected to work closely with distributors to grow sales volume, open new accounts, and maintain existing accounts while developing new relationships throughout the distribution network. This is an excellent opportunity for someone willing and interested in learning and growing in their profession with an expanding brewery.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Increase market share and same-store sales of our beers.
*Aggressively pursue new accounts and build relationships with existing accounts.
*Develop expert beer knowledge and understanding of our portfolio.
*Manage individual time and activities to maximize sales volume in defined territory.
*Maintain responsible marketing expenses to achieve maximum return on investment.
*Conduct beer tasting and account staff education with key accounts.
*Sales Performance- the Sales Representative will be required to meet or exceed established sales standards
*Organize, plan and staff promotional & special events
*Accurately report activities and account records in our database
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
*Cicerone Beer Server certification REQUIRED (or currently taking the Cicerone course)
*Ability to become a Certified Cicerone within 6-8 month period
*Excellent written and oral communication skills a must.
*Excellent persuasive selling and relationship development skills a must.
*Bachelor's Degree, equivalent experience is a must.
*Bilingual in English/Spanish language preferred.
*Service industry and hospitality experience preferred.
*Mastery of basic computer programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook.
*Available to work Monday through Friday as well as occasional weekend days as required
Compensation will be dependent on experience; benefits include paid vacation, sick pay, paid holidays, and health insurance.
