The world's only all-organic homebrew supply store is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, and experienced manager.
We are a popular online and storefront business that operates in both retail and wholesale sales of homebrew and home coffee roasting supplies. Our business is a consumer cooperative located in the beautiful and eclectic city of Santa Cruz, CA.
Responsibilities include:
Direct and supervise day-to-day retail operations
Oversee, manage and coodinate facilities and workforce
Prepare / oversee legal reports and documentation
Complete and up to date financial record keeping
Inventory and database management
Human resources management
Managing events such as trade shows, festivals, and homebrew competitions
Support for all employee positions
Managing wholesale accounts
Product development and expansion
Skills Required:
Minimum 3 years small business management experience
Computer skills: basic word processing and spreadsheets, inventory management, and financial programs. Working knowledge of Quickbooks a plus.
Industry knowledge: retail management, homebrewing / home coffee roasting experience, and interest in organic / "green" business.
Financial planning and budgeting
Inventory management experience
Excellent customer service
Experience with B2B
Shipping management experience
Strong attention to detail
Able to prioritize very well
Excellent communication and delegation skills
Big picture planning, forward-thinking attitude
Skills preferred:
Graphic design and Adobe CS4 skills
Marketing experience with proven track record
Web design and maintenance a big plus
Organic certification experience
Extensive knowledge of homebrewing industry and products
