We have vessels from 2 different MFG. outfits. Under the same operating conditions, one definitely performs well and the other " brand " does not.
This is obviously relating to the design of the heat trensfer surface and without any doubt. I have noticed some threads relating to problems with cooling down fermentors and this type of thing factored in could cause some difficulty when all other matters of the refirgeration plant seem to be solid. Especially if all of the fermentation vessels in the brewery were of a problematic variety. This can have a negative impact on production, timing, and possibly quality matters.
A vessel is not just a vessel.
