Account Sales Specialist (2 position openings):
Denver covering Summit, Eagle, Pitkin, Routt counties as well as Glenwood Springs, Aspen Valley, Grand Junction and Southwest Colorado

Dallas covering Dallas/Fort Worth area as well as Plano and Abilene


Our Account Sales Specialist is Deschutes Brewery’s entry level into our Sales world. These positions will be responsible for managing sales efforts for a specific number of key accounts in multiple distributor territories under the guidance/leadership of a Market Sales Manager. The Account Sales Specialist will promote Deschutes Brewery products to on and off premise accounts with a focus on building strong relationships with multiple distributor partners and key accounts through visits (day, night and weekends), promotions, educational programs and events. The successful candidate will have great beer knowledge, exceptional communication skills, a great attitude and a passion for the craft beer industry and Deschutes Brewery’s awesome products. REQUIRED: 4 year college degree or comparable work experience, three-tier distribution experience within the adult beverage industry, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, knowledge of legal issues related to alcohol sales.

Market Sales Manager (2 position openings):
Los Angeles, CA covering LA, Hollywood, San Fernando Valley and Santa Monica

Illinois with a primary focus on Chicago but will travel and cover the entire state


Our Market Sales Managers are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our distribution and account partners to bring awareness and distribution of Deschutes Brewery products within a specified market area. Market Sales Managers are accountable for achieving assigned volume and profit goals, assigned distribution goals, volume per outlet goals and securing all account standards. This position has responsibility for managing distributor selling efforts, marketing program execution and will have responsibility for promotion and event management within their territory. REQUIRED: A minimum 5 years experience in adult beverage sales (preferably in craft beer sales), 4 year college degree or comparable work experience, strong interpersonal and proven leadership skills, solid written and verbal communication skills, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and a passion for the craft beer industry and Deschutes Brewery’s awesome products.

Zone Sales Manager (1 position opening):
This position will be accountable for all planning and managing of the Sales Team efforts for Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Utah and New Mexico. Responsibilities will focus on brand building, customer relations and delivering sales through building/maintaining a great team, effective management of partners in key accounts and distributor networks and achieving profit goals.

Position responsibilities will include:

· Relationship building with key decision makers in top on and off premise accounts and distributor network;

· Set and monitor Zone sales goals;

· Lead a diverse Sales Team across several states providing strategic vision and clarity of responsibilities to achieve success;

· Willingness to travel;

· Fiscal responsibilities for assigned region;

· Facilitate growth, learning and communication opportunities for your team.

Required experience/skills:

· Four year college degree or comparable work experience;

· A minimum 5 years experience in a leadership position in adult beverage sales, preferably in craft beer sales;

· Proven skills developing and managing budgetary responsibilities;

· Ability to identify opportunities to achieve goals;

· Strong knowledge of data gathering through IRI, VIP and Nielsen;

· Strong interpersonal, proven leadership and analytical skills;

· Knowledge of legal issues related to alcohol sales: liquor laws, promo values;

· Fully proficient computer skills with Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint;

· Solid written and verbal communication skills;

· A valid driver license and clean driving record;

· A passion for the craft beer industry and Deschutes Brewery products.
