Anyone use these or done trials between the 2? Looking for a lager yeast that can produce a Pacifico-type Mex lager regularly, as well as a German Okt or Bock, or even Baltic Porter. Preferences? Anyone?

W-34/70 all the way. After having used both S-23 and S-189 the S-34/70 has been my lager work horse. Its versatile and should fit the range you're looking for.Cheers,

Paul,
Our Oktoberfest is also unfiltered and I had no issues with getting this yeast to clear naturally. Grain to glass on this beer for us is 6 weeks (4 wks fv & 2 wks BBT/SST) and we've experienced good flocculation and bright beer when we tap it.Cheers,
Mike Roy
