Red Brick Brewing is seeking a world-class individual interested in joining our production team. As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for work in all aspects of beer packaging including cleaning and filling kegs, working as a team member on the bottling line, building packaging materials, loading and unloading trucks, and routine brewery cleaning and sanitation.
Requirements:
• Arrive at work on time and ready to begin the day’s production
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• Works well as part of a team in fast-paced environment
• Able to take direction from management
• Respect for peers, co-workers, and managers
• Interest in learning and growing with the company
• Willingness to work long hours and weekends as needed
• Ability to understand and follow SOP’s
• Strong focus on product quality, efficiency, and attention to detail
• Able to adjust to a changing production schedule
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness in all operations
• Work on your feet for over eight hours at a time
• Work in heat / cold temperature extremes for extended periods of time
• Work in damp / wet areas or confined spaces
• Work in loud production environment
• Must be able to reach over head, twist / turn, stoop, crouch, kneel
• Lift up to 175 pound kegs as needed
• Operate in a safe manner, including wearing protective eye / ear wear and gloves
• Ensure proper chemical handling
• Drive a forklift (we will teach you if needed)
• Previous experience in a production brewery (a plus)
• Interest in craft beer and the brewing process
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing brewery. This is a full time, hourly position ranging from 40-50 hours per week. We also offer full medical and dental benefits, paid vacation and PTO. Salary will be DOE.
