Like making the glorious liquid that is beer portable? We’ve got a job for you! Golden Road Brewing in Los Angeles, California is looking for an enthusiastic packaging tech to join the team.
This is a full time position working on and learning all facets of our packaging operations here at Golden Road. You’ll need to love canning and kegging beer, but also enjoy working to maintain and improve our equipment as well as the general operations of packaging. Candidates must meet the following requirements:
-Minimum 6 months professional experience in a food grade packaging facility
-(Formal education in mechanical/ electrical/ maintenance/ food production/ engineering field is preferred)
-Ability to work well in team settings and independently
-Physically fit to operate in production brewing environment
-Ability to repeatedly lift 55lbs
-Strong work ethic and ability to multitask
-Solid understanding and interest in equipment maintenance
-Experience with preventative maintenance operations
Compensation based on experience and aptitude. Benefits to include health care, paid time off, daily meals at the pub, and free beer!
Golden Road is Los Angeles’ fastest growing craft brewery. We began brewing in September 2011. We currently have produced 15 different brands, packaging our 2 core brands in 16 oz cans, and all brands in 5.2 and 15.5 gallon kegs.
