  • First Craft Brewery in El Salvador & first Craft Beer kickstarter in LA

Fellow Craft Beer freak. We are Andy and Nanelle Newbom and we founded Brew Revolution, the first and only Craft Brewery in El Salvador. We sold everything and moved from the San Francisco Bay Area to El Salvador to start a Craft Beer Revolution. We formed our team of Salvadoran rebels, dreamers and foodies, and launched our first offensive in the surf village of Playa El Tunco.

El Salvador ama a nuestro gran cerveza artesanal! Brew Revolution is the first and only craft brewery in the country, and demand is exploding so fast we can barely keep up. Our little 2.5Hl brew system, handmade here in El Salvador, was just the first round in our bootstrap, DIY, push to bring great Craft Beer, new skills, and good jobs to El Salvador! Que Chivo!

The people of El Salvador love our beers! They love them too much! After only 6 months we have already outgrown our building and our fermentation capacity from the early demand. As you well know it takes cash to expand and grow a craft brewery. We decided to take the Brew Revolution to the people! We are launching the first kickstarter campaign for craft beer in Latin America.

For this expansion project we are going to:
Triple fermentation capacity (from 350 liters a week to 1050 liters a week)
    Triple conditioning and carbonating space
Double the size of our micro brewery building and add a walk in cooler
Health Benefits and technical training for our team (all local Salvadorenos)

Here is the kickstarter project that outlines what we are doing to expand to meet demand.

How can you help us spread the Brew Revolution?
    1. Watch our video and check out our kickstarter project

    5. talk to other beer industry folk and ask them to spread the word
