  • Activated Stone Carbon

Does anyone know where to get Activated Stone Carbon- Distillery Grade- 0.4-0.85mm? We are building a filter for a micro distillery.

    Thanks

I've used Buyactivatedcharcoal.com! This product: Granulated Activated Carbon Charcoal, 12x30 mesh, Coconut shell, acid washed, 55 pound poly bag.
It's very good for filtering my chlorine from brew water and I've used it to polish ethanol, as well. Good stuff, and not too expensive. It's also used in soft drink and bottled water plants. Might want a fines filter after the carbon filter to catch any dust, but it's minimal. Good luck!

Agree about the fines filter - absolutely essential. Suggest 10 micron absolute which is what we use.
