    About Elevation Beer Company

    Elevation Beer Co. is an artisan microbrewery founded in May of 2012 by four friends and located in picturesque Poncha Springs, Colorado. Elevation specializes in brewing large adventurous specialty and barrel-aged beers for the craft beer fanatic. We are a rapidly growing production brewery built on a culture of quality, the outdoors, and a fun and dynamic work atmosphere.

    Overview of the Position

    Elevation is hiring a full time salesperson, with the position covering the Denver Metro Area and eventually the entire Front Range region. The ideal candidate will live in the area and will work directly with our Sales Manager and Wholesaler team. The salesperson will be responsible for increasing on and off premise placements, wholesaler and key retailer management and training, as well as special events coordination.

    Requirements

    • Bachelors Degree from an accredited university
    • 2+ years of craft beer sales and distribution experience in Denver metro area
    • Certified Cicerone or similar training preferred but not required
    • Ability to Lift 40 lbs. and move 160 lbs. safely
    • Must have a clean driving record
    • The ability to work some nights and weekends for special events

    Key Responsibilities

    • Work with our wholesaler continuously concentrating on:
    o Increased package distribution off and on Premise
    o Increase draft presence in each market
    • Team sell days with sales reps/team leaders with our wholesaler
    • Execute and develop a promotional calendar geared towards building sales and distribution
    • Develop key customers in each territory and attain a proprietary relationship with said retailers to gain sales and distribution.
    • Plan and execute promotion events with key retailers that may occur any day of the week.
    • Keep a weekly/bi-weekly planner of goals and account calls within each wholesale territory.
    • Forecast seasonal brand execution and track results
    • Conduct monthly and quarterly wholesale wrap up meetings covering distribution gains and sales results.
    • Completely understand and embrace the Elevation brands and culture and deliver our mission to the wholesale and retail customer.

    Compensation

    Base salary plus commission, based on experience plus a car allowance and expense account.

    Last details

    We are looking for someone who will work hard, have an immediate impact and voice in our brewery, and is also motivated to grow alongside the company. You would be full time employee #2 and an extremely important part of the Elevation Team and its future.
