At Boulder Beer Company we will soon be celebrating the opening of Boulder’s newest brewery owned by our two senior brewers. As a result, we are looking to fill the job of Brewer. The position of brewer at Boulder Beer is a full time, rotating shift job with possible 24 hour coverage. The successful candidate for Brewer will have professional brewing experience and have a solid background brewing and cellaring science and technique. Some of the skills required of Boulder Beer Brewers include:
• Raw material handling and inventory control
• Wort production including physical measurement and troubleshooting
• Sanitary sampling, yeast cell counts and record keeping
• Clean in place and safe chemical handling
• Cellar operations including DE filtration, tank and transfer sanitation
• Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Coordinating operations with Packaging, Maintenance, QC and Shipping departments
• All things needed to get great beer made
At Boulder Beer we work hard and play hard in crafting great beer for our customers and ourselves. As Colorado’s first microbrewery we continue to create new and interesting beers while maintaining long time favorites. As a brewer, you will be central to this goal.
