  • Zahmn meter to non-Perlick sample valve

Does any one have any experience attaching a Zahmn meter to a non-perlick style sample valve such as the gw kent long body style? Or even a knock off perlick style sample valve. I am currently trying to source fittings to some tanks that are currently fittingless and wondering if i can go with a less expensive option than the real perlicks or is this just going to make me pay the price later? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I'm not sure if this answers your question but I bought some Perlick style sample valves from GW Kent (Catalog # = 80-12) for $99 each. They work fine with the Zahm.

Try to attach a hose to the Zahm that fits over the sample port. I have had to do this for a few of my tanks that have different sample ports. Very cheap fix.
