CRAFT BEER SALES AMBASSADOR
Do you have a passion for craft beer? If so, an exciting opportunity awaits you! Bent Paddle Brewing Co. is Duluth's newest craft production brewery. We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic individual to introduce and sell our craft beer portfolio. This person must have a taste for competition, a passion for craft beer and the rapidly growing beer culture of Minnesota. The primary focus of this position is to grow and maintain packaged beer sales in liquor stores, restaurants and bars for Bent Paddle Brewing Co. The sales ambassador will research market opportunities, initiate and maximize sales, build awareness and help foster brand loyalty for Bent Paddle to the beer drinking public. This position is full time and salaried with bonus potential based on sales performance.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
• Develop new business with liquor stores, bars and restaurants
• Introduce and promote Bent Paddle craft beer portfolio
• Grow existing accounts and maintain business relationships
• Provide continuing and conscientious service for each account
• Conduct beer tastings and participate in special brewery events
• Represent our brands in the market to increase distribution area
• Ensure proper and timely ordering and assist in logistical coordination
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Prior beverage sales experience and/or working experience in beer/wine/distribution industry
• Willing to relocate if needed
• Flexibility. Hours will vary and include evenings and weekends. Regional travel is also required
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent written and business communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented
• High School Diploma
