Experienced Brewer - Kenai Alaska
Kassik’s Brewery is growing, and we need another full-time brewer to join our team. Kassik’s is a family owned brewery located on the Kenai Peninsula (160 miles south of Anchorage).
Kenai is a great place to raise a family!
We operate a 7 BBL brew house in which we brew double batches into 15 BBL uni-tanks, DE filtration, Meheen Bottling Line, Premier Stainless 3 keg washer, and we continue to add to our tankage and keg inventory.
The position consists of all aspects of brewing: Wort production, fermentation management, cellaring, inventory, kegging and bottling. Annual production: 2000 – 2500 BBL’s.
Requirements:
• Passion and dedication for brewing quality craft beer.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be a team player, and be able to work independently.
• Must be able to work any shift in a 24-hour schedule.
• Should have a formal brewing education and/or a minimum of 2 years brewing experience in a commercial brewery/brewpub.
Salary is commensurate with experience, benefits include: Medical insurance, paid time off and some paid holidays.
