Master Brewer opportunity in Phoenix, AZ. Mother Bunch Brewing and Brasserie.
Mother Bunch Brewing is a start-up Brew Pub in the heart of Phoenix. This is a Woman Owned business enterprise that is well funded. We need a dedicated industry professional with finely tuned skills and strong commitment to help us build a fine beer experience for our customers.
We are searching for an experienced master brewer to help lead the development of our brewpub business. Head Brewer candidate must have a working knowledge of all brewery operations, including production, quality, inventory and staffing. You should have at least 2 years experience as a master brewer, 4 years as a brewer and carry a history of award winning beer recipe formulation to add to or tweak our brands. A technical degree commensurate with this position is a big plus.
Requirements; must include and are not limited to:
- Assist with design and layout of the Brew House
- Ability to formulate recipes, scale recipes and develop flagship brands
- Must have in-depth knowledge of all brewery operations and equipment
- Cellarmaster experience for filling kegs
- Basic QA/QC Lab Experience
- Strong work ethic with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency
- Work with contractors and local government agencies on adherence to safety & health codes
- Must be able to lift 55lbs repeatedly
- Troubleshooting brewery equipment to identify needed repairs
- Management of Inventory and Employee delegation
- Must be willing to relocate to Phoenix, Arizona
- Position entails possible oversight of multiple locations and their supply/delivery demands
