Superstar Assistant Brewer - Asheville, NC
Asheville Brewing Company is looking for our next great brewer. We operate 2 breweries in the coolest town in the Southeast. We did almost 5,500 bbls last year and we need that number to continue to grow. Be part of a great broo croo and show off your skills in one of the most competitive beer cities in the world.
Main job will be brewing, but all tasks of daily brewery operations will be required as need arises.
Cellar work, bottling, washing kegs, milling, delivery, clean-out, etc.
You must:
Have 2+ years brewing experience
Have a great attitude
Work and play well with others
Be able to handle all physical tasks required:
Moving and lifting 55lbs at a time, several times a day, climb stairs and ladders several times a day, etc.
Be able to start in the next 30 to 45 days
Have a very flexible schedule

We have been brewing tasty brews since 1998 in our movie theater on a 7bbl system. In 2006 we opened a second brewery downtown with a 15bbl system. We live in an awesome, beer-crazy town that is consistently voted one of the Best Places in America to live, and with 15 plus breweries in a town of 75,000 we need dynamic, cutting-edge brewers who can follow recipes with laser accuracy and also
have the creative and artistic talents to produce great beers.
