Brewing Internship at Crazy Mountain Brewery in Vail Valley, Colorado
Do you want to learn more about brewing and get your foot in the door of the craft beer industry? If you want to make craft beer your career, Crazy Mountain Brewery in Vail, Colorado is a great place to start. Our summer internship program is a wonderful introduction to the craft brewing industry in Colorado - "The Napa Valley of Beer". Experience the laid back lifestyle of the Rocky Mountains in summertime while immersing yourself in all facets of the brewing industry.
Our 16-week program will expose you to every sector of a commercial brewery, including packaging, cellar, laboratory, tasting room/customer relations, sales, marketing and of course brewing. No day will be the same as the one before! You will learn what it takes to become a member of our family.
Working in a brewery is very laborious and time-consuming, so we only consider serious applicants with strong work ethics, a smart head on their shoulders, quick on their feet, a huge passion for craft beer, and the stamina to work long hours. We work hard and we play hard - we hope you do too.
When you are not at work, you can enjoy all of the great summertime activities that Vail has to offer, such as hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, whitewater rafting, off-roading, horseback riding, backpacking/camping and drinking beer on patios at sunset.
To be eligible, you must be 21 years old by May 1st of the application year. You must be a US citizen or have permanent US work authorization. You must be able to lift weight multiple times throughout the day and be physically fit enough for extensive manual labor. You must be willing to work long hours and weekends. You must have your own transportation and housing.
Compensation: All the free delicious craft beer that you can drink. We will also provide a letter of recommendation upon completion of the program. This internship has the possibility of leading to a full-time position at Crazy Mountain depending on performance and attitude.
