General Manager -
Carbondale Beer Works: Ale House and Wienery, Carbondale, CO
Carbondale Beer Works is looking for a General Manager to oversee and manage the complete front of house operations for our brewpub in downtown Carbondale, Colorado. We are looking for a beer-loving, enthusiastic, business-minded, and experienced manager that will uphold the mission of CBW to be a fun, welcoming and safe place to consume great craft beer in a responsible manner.
General Manager Duties:
Develop and oversee front of house operations that optimize sales, maintains a loyal customer base, and ensures customer satisfaction.
In charge of all staff issues. Coordinate daily, weekly and monthly schedules to optimize number of staff on for a given night. Create, implement, and maintain training programs. Ensure employee development, morale, and satisfaction.
Coordinate all events, music, promotions, and marketing related to restaurant and brewery activities
Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and community involvement.
Responsible for all inventories, including ordering and stocking and coordinating with kitchen and bar staff.
Assist in setting budgetary and production goals. Run POS reports.
Verify POS receipts for cash/CC payments and tips. Handle and deposit cash.
Maintain a daily dialogue with owner regarding all business, staff and general information.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years management in food and beverage industry with demonstrated and increasing levels of responsibility in operations and strategy.
Knowledge and promotion of health and safety protocols including TIPS and food safety rules.
Passion for craft beer
Knowledge of the brewing process and the craft brewing industry are a plus.
Excellent communication skills, including writing, proofreading skills, and speaking
Excellent interpersonal skills with high professionalism
Ability to accomplish projects with little or no supervision
Fantastic customer service ethic and high expectations for quality
Proficient using MS Word and MS Excel; Aloha POS a plus. Social media knowledge a plus.
