Southern Star Brewing Seeks Head Brewer

Southern Star Brewing Company, an established micro 5+ years into production, is looking for a dynamic head brewer to join our team. Our brewery is poised to become a regional brewery within the next two years, moving into a new facility with brand new equipment. The ideal candidate should come equipped with a well-stocked skill set and be ready to tackle new challenges and lead the brew-house to the next level.
The qualified candidate should have:
· At LEAST 5 years experience in wort production, preferably on a 30 bbl brew house or larger
· A positive, can-do attitude
· Willingness and ability to take charge of difficult situations and make critical key decisions
· The ability to do all of standard tasks associated with wort production and cellaring (sometimes in extreme heat)
· A twisted sense of humor
· Previous supervisory experience; the ability to manage complex schedules and complex individuals
· A passion for drinking and creating great beer
