    HLT Sizing

    Hi all, I'm trying to understand how big to size my HLT. I am going with a 15 BBL system. We'll be brewing 3 or 4 times a week. Since I won't be brewing multiple batches in a day, how big should I go? 22.5 BBLs? 30 BBLs? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Are you using the water in the HLT to CIP your tanks and HX?

        30bbl will save you energy heating water.

          Thanks for the quick response. What the deal with the combi-tank HLTs? What would the volume of the HLTS be for those brewpub type designs? How do they get by?
