Laughing Dog Brewing is looking for a Brewer/Assistant to join our team here in beautiful Sandpoint Idaho..
Job Summary: Assistant brewer is responsible for helping with all processes and procedures surrounding producing the highest quality beer possible. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Raw material handling, Brewhouse operations, CIP processes and equipment cleaning, product transfers, kegging and bottling, housekeeping, employing proper safety equipment, yeast and wort handling, etc.
Job Requirements: Knowledge and understanding of the science of brewing and fermentation and theories of the processes and equipment employed daily to accomplish our goals. This position requires the ability to manage one’s self, working in an effective and efficient manner and communicating with Head Brewer effectively and professionally. Assistant brewer needs to be good communicators, able to follow detailed chain of instruction, fast thinkers, and team players. Ability to communicate and follow direction is necessary.
Assistant brewer needs to be able to work on their feet for over eight hours at a time, repeatedly lift up to 55lbs, work in extreme temperatures for extended periods of time, in loud production environments, with chemicals of varying composition, work from heights, work in damp and wet areas and work in confined spaces.
we are looking for an experienced brewer but are willing to train the right person if you have schooling
