    Fish Brewing Company, a private craft brewery located in Olympia, WA that produces high quality hand crafted beers and ciders including Fish Tale Ales, Leavenworth Beers, and Spire Mountain Ciders, has an immediate opening at for a Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing and is responsible for the implementation of marketing programs and events at Fish Brewing Company.
    Position Summary:
    The Marketing Manager will be responsible for implementing the company’s marketing strategy and will work closely with Sales & Marketing Director to develop, implement and maintain marketing efforts to meet organizational objectives. This is a key marketing position with a fun, fast-paced and growing craft brewery. The Marketing Manager will deliver Fish’s marketing communications through the written word, social networking, visuals/graphics and personal communication using the “voice” of Fish Brewing. Experience with online marketing and graphic design software is essential. Additional duties will include coordination of and representation at events, both in-house and trade (festivals, tastings); sourcing of merchandise and promotional materials; and sales support/distributor relations.

    Specific duties include:
    • Manage on and off-site festivals
    • Coordinate Mug Club and other preferred customer programs
    • Design, purchase and maintain inventory of logo wear
    • Coordinate brewery tours, tastings and brewer dinners
    • Coordinate donation program
    • Manage beer competition database
    • Develop POS and advertising materials for brew pubs
    • Maintain brewery websites
    • Coordinate social media efforts including Facebook, Twitter and other sources

    Requirements:
    BA, BBA or related college degree; strong organizational skills including time management and the ability to plan and coordinate work; excellent communication skills, including writing, editing and proofreading; familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access); Solid knowledge of Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and basic web site building and internet research.

    Additional Information:
    Typical schedule will be regular office hours plus additional hours and some weekends depending on the schedule. Must be able to lift 50lbs, move 140lb kegs into place and have a valid driver’s license. Wages will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, and employee will be eligible for our competitive benefits package, which includes health care and vacation pay.
