We are actively searching for a HEAD BREWER to take our brewery to the next level. We opened at the end of 2011 and have quickly grown to a 6,000 barrel a year brewery. Since our plan is to double that by the end of the year, we need a true head brewer that can expand the brewhouse, implement schedules with our brewers, organize equipment and basically just take charge of the back of the house. We need a leader for the brewhouse.
Our system:
* 30 barrel brewhouse
* 10 fermentation tanks (4 more coming in June)
* 30 barrel and 60 barrel brite tanks (90 barrel brite coming in June)
* 4 head canning line
* dedicated hopback
* 3 vessel system: lauter/mash tun, boil kettle, whirlpool - plus the hopback
Our beer:
* 14 different beers in 2012 including 4 core
* all first wort hopped
* no Cascade used
Ideal candidate:
* proven experience brewing on a commercial system (3+ years preferred)
* leadership mentality - will run the brewhouse autonomously
* proven organizational skills
* experience with quality control
