Job Description – Cellar person
Compensation: Hourly
Hours: 25-30 hours per week
Location: Clayton, NC
General Guidelines:
Deep River Brewing Company is a rapidly growing craft brewery in Clayton, NC. As such, any position with our company will require the applicant to be flexible in work duties performed. In other words, we will all do whatever it takes to produce world class beer and provide top notch service. While DRBC will do everything possible to ensure a consistent schedule, applicant should have open availability and the ability to be on call as needed. We expect the applicant to understand that rapidly growing breweries require a lot of work and flexibility.

Job Duties:
Assist in day to day brewery operations.
Assist in cellar and packaging operations.
Support retail taproom staff as needed and assigned.
Represent DRBC at events, festivals, and promotions as needed
Deliver beer to wholesale accounts
Clean and fill kegs and casks
Maintain packaging records
Clean and maintain the keg washing and milling areas
Assist with maintenance and overall cleanliness of entire brewery and cellar including tank exteriors and floors
Job Qualifications:
Previous brewery experience preferred
Some retail/serving experience desired
Positive attitude
Ability to lift 55 pound sacks of grain to shoulder height
Ability to lift, push, pull kegs 150+ lbs
Current drivers license with clean driving record
Ability to work any shift at any time if needed
Able to work well in a team environment
Desire to learn, grow, and take on increased responsibility
High School Diploma but some college preferred
Ability to work overtime as needed
