One of San Diego's premiere breweries is seeking a new Cellar Person. We prefer someone with brewing education who is looking for career growth.
Job Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Brewery Supervisor, the Cellarperson I will be responsible for following Company safety procedures, policies, and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to keep brewery and equipment clean and sanitized, and for bottling and packaging product and keeping warehouse organized. Will also occasionally work in the tasting bar or outside events as needed by serving beer samples and filling kegs and growlers.
Qualifications:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and vendors.
• Well organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Must have the ability to work with hazardous cleaning chemicals.
• Must have the ability to lift 55 lbs regularly and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays for special work related events such as beer dinners or to handle brewery related tasks that require daily attention.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
