Oskar Blues Brewery is searching for an outstanding Northern California-based Sales Rep
As a representative of Oskar Blues, you first and foremost must have a Take Charge/Get 'R Done attitude!
Qualified candidates should also have:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as a good understanding of “beer math”
• Abundant energy and zest for life
• Great presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, self-start and think/act quickly when something needs to be done
• Ability to complete tasks on time and independently
• Proven reliability and consistent, strong work ethic
• Healthy interest in and knowledge of craft beer
• Strong desire to grow professionally with the company
The ideal candidate will have the ability to both discuss and negotiate distribution programs with distributors and also to lead by example in the retail trade. It's also important for candidates to be extremely goal-oriented and driven to win. A passion for craft beer, knowledge of, or desire to learn, the business of beer and a general understanding of how beer flows through the three-tier system are necessities.
Preference will be given to candidates who currently live in the San Francisco area and who have some craft beer sales experience with either a distributor or craft brewery.
Job requirements:
• Significant regional travel
• Evening work - tastings and promotions
• Weekend work - festivals and events
• Regular communication with the home base and entire sales team
• Reliable vehicle
• Good driving record and Personal Liability auto insurance (contact for more info)
