  • Brooklyn Brewery Hiring 2 Cellarmen

BROOKLYN BREWERY IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THESE POSITIONS. THANK YOU TO ALL WHO APPLIED.
    Fellow Brewers,

Brooklyn Brewery in Brooklyn, NY is looking for 2 dedicated cellarmen/brewers to add to our cellaring team.

This is a full-time position encompassing all areas of cellaring operations, including dry-hopping, transfers/filtration, finishing, and CIP, with some malt handling and packaging duties.

Qualified candidates will have more than TWO (2) years of experience working at a production brewery packaging more than 7,500 bbl per year. Must be able to meet the physical challenges of cellaring work, including the ability to lift 50-60 lbs multiple times during the day, drive a forklift, grip and manipulate tri-clamps, hoses, valves, etc. on a regular basis, work safely within tight spaces and with various cleaning/sterilization chemicals. A strong mechanical aptitude is a major plus. Centrifuge experience is a plus but not necessary. The person filling this position must be willing to work flexible schedules, which will include working some late nights and possible overnight shifts. Compensation, with salary commensurate with experience, includes health and dental insurance, paid vacation and 401K with employer match.

Brooklyn Brewery is located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, a dynamic place often described as "the coolest neighborhood in the United States”. The Brooklyn facility currently has a capacity of approximately 90,000 bbl. We are the 11th largest craft brewery, and the largest exporter of craft beer in the United States. This year, The Brooklyn Brewery will produce over 200,000 bbl in three locations. We cook well, we eat well, we drink well, we travel widely, our electricity is 100% wind-powered, and we like to think that we make very good beer. We involve all brewhouse personnel in the creative evolution of the beer and the brewery. If you truly love beer and like fast-paced environments, Brooklyn Brewery is a nice place to be. We think you'll like it here.

Please send resumes/CVs to Rob Lemery at: rlemery@brooklynbrewery.com
