Acidulated malt to 88% lactic acid

What is the of 27.5 Lbs of Weyermann Acidulated malt in 88% lactic acid.

Are you asking for a weight or a volume equivalent?

IIRC the density of lactic acid is about 1.2kg/L at room temp, and acid malt is about 3% lactic acid by weight. 88% lactic acid is obviously 88%.

3% of 12.5kg = 375g of lactic acid

1.2kg/L * 88% = 1.056kg/l

375g / 1.056kg/l = 355ml

355ml * 1.2kg/l = 426g

So it's either 426g or 355ml
