Production Brewer - Maui Brewing Company
Maui Brewing Company has an immediate opening for a Production Brewer to execute all brewhouse, fermentation, finishing and bright beer handling functions on a rotating shift. This position will primarily report to the Lead Brewer. Prior experience on a manual brewhouse is strongly preferred. Focus on quality, consistency, safety and teamwork are all must haves.
This position will be involved in all aspects of day to day beer production including receipt of raw materials, wort production, yeast handling and pitching, filtration, racking and all CIP of equipment. Must be able to lift 55 lbs, move 165 lbs safely, work with chemicals, in a warm, loud environment with reasonable safety accommodations.
Maui Brewing Company is a well established microbrewery on the island of Maui in Lahaina, Hawaii. While experiencing aggressive growth in both volume and brand differentiation, every can and keg of Maui Brewing Company beer is brewed on Maui. Currently, we are operating a 25 bbl production brewhouse and a 7 bbl pub brewhouse with a projected 2013 production volume of 20,000 bbl plus.
