    JOB TITLE: NW Region Key Accounts Representative
    LOCATION: (ND, MN, WI, IL, IA, IN, MO and AZ)
    REPORTS TO: National Key Accounts Manager
    POSITION TYPE: Full Time, Salaried

    SUMMARY: Manages relationships between brewery and On & Off Premise key account (chain) customers within Region directly and through Area Brewery Representatives. Assist in coordination of national key account programs.
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
     Adheres to and advances the ethical sales culture of Bell’s Brewery, Inc.
     Develop and maintain a true strategic partnership with key on and off premise customers within Region. Assume a leadership role in understanding, developing, and implementing key customer initiatives within the craft beer section and beer segment in general.
     Conduct regular sales calls with customers. At each call (or quarterly) conduct business review, share industry trends and information, and/or present programs with focus on benefits to the customer.
     Coordinate various approved customer programs with Key Account Manager, Region Manager, Area Brewery Representatives, and Distributor partners that will be affected.
     Conduct regular (monthly or quarterly) teleconferences with distributor partners on Key Account Team initiatives in the region.
     Manage and communicate shared expectations between customer, Distributor partners, Key Account Manager, Region Business Manager, and Lead Brewery Representatives including brands, pricing, timing, volume, locations, support documents and any other information that will lead to disciplined execution in the field.
     Review data relevant to key accounts with Region Business Manager, Key Accounts Manager, and Lead Brewery Representatives to convert insights into actions for distributor presentations.
     Present at all Regional Team meetings to layout goals and programs. Discuss progress toward achieving goals and develop tactical plans to deliver volume.
     Regularly survey accounts to ensure accurate pricing and programs (if applicable) are being executed.
     Develop annual budget plans by account, with Key Accounts Manager. Track spending on-going.
     Maintain and update account contact information regularly.
     Provide annual customer overview for Regional Business Manager and Lead Brewery Representatives.Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key retailers and restaurateurs in area.

    IMPORTANT SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
     Demonstrated knowledge of chain environment and three tier system
     Demonstrated ability to build relationships and maintain effective working relationships with top level account decision makers, distributors, and all internal stakeholders
     Ability to analyze and translate insights data
     Demonstrated coaching and team building skills
     Demonstrated ability to think strategically
     Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
     Ability to work independently with little supervision – self motivated
     In depth knowledge of, and direct experience in, the craft beer scene in this geography
     High level of craft beer product knowledge
     Strong organizational & planning skills
     Ability and willingness to maintain flexible work schedules, as weekend and extended workdays are necessary
     Must live within the region as defined
     Bachelor’s degree and five years of industry experience
     Valid driver’s license
    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:
     A minimum of 3 years experience in Key Account/Chain management
     Previous Management/Leadership experience
     A high level of proficiency in spreadsheet, presentation, and word processing software
     Excellent communications skills
     A high level of professionalism
     Strong analytical skills
     Ability to identify tasks that need to be completed
     Ability to troubleshoot and find creative solutions to problems
     Ability to lead and motivate a team of Lead Brewery Representatives (LBR’s) and Field Sales Representatives (FSR’s)
     Ability to work independently as well as with the NW Regional and Key Accounts Teams
     A demonstrable interest in Craft Beer that includes a working knowledge of the brewing/manufacturing process
     Understands the role of Key Accounts/Chains within Bell’s sales philosophy
     Willingness to make difficult or unpopular decisions when necessary
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
     Performance duties of this job include regularly being required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk, hear, and smell.
     Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
     Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb.
     Must be able to participate in critical assessment of beers
     Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
