We're looking for a Community Development Manager to support our Pyramid Alehouses, Portland Taproom and Genesee Brew House. This position is based at our Berkeley, CA location but supports locations in Walnut Creek CA, Portland OR, Seattle WA and Rochester NY and can expect to travel to the Pacific Northwest monthly and the east coast quarterly. The Community Development Manager is responsible for increasing restaurant and brand awareness in the local communities and expanding the customer base through marketing and public relations strategies, promotions, special events and community partnerships. This position seeks to establish and build new initiatives as well as maintain and execute existing programs. This position works closely and in conjunction with restaurant management in order to meet retail objectives and the marketing department to ensure quality and consistency of the brand message at all times.
Our ideal candidate must have four or more years of marketing and event planning experience, with some experience in strategies, planning process, project development and master plan development. We would prefer 1-2 years of high volume restaurant experience in FOH positions, and a degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a similar field.
