  • High flow sanke coupler for yeast transfer to keg??

I was in a brewery not to long ago and they showed me some special keg couplers they use on standard kegs to push in yeast harvested from a fermenter. Then used the keg to store yeast, and pump said yeast into new fermenter, etc. They looked like really big couplers that would allow high flow for the thick slurry.

Anyone know where to get these?

No, but you can buy yeast brinks that have a sanke tops and a butterfly valve on the bottom with a standard 1.5'' sanitary fitting.

We use ball lock corny kegs with no problems, so I don't see why a standard sanke tap wouldn't work. They have better flow than a corny.

IDD has Micromatic couplers bored out for keg cleaning. I think you can get them straight from Micromatic also.
