A brand new brewpub concept being built from the ground up in north Los Angeles would like to interview head brewers who have prior commercial brewing experience.
Requirements
1-2 years Head Brewer experience, or 3+ years as an assistant brewer.
Able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Able to work with and scale recipes for 15BBL System.
Able to work in closed spaces, with harsh chemicals, extreme temperatures, and wet conditions.
Detail-oriented, task-oriented work style.
Perform and manage regular brew house operations.
Training in proper cleaning procedures.
Ability to cultivate and handle yeast.
Familiarity with brewery safety and training (examples of prior checklists/procedures, a plus).
Manage employees within the brew house.
Consult and assist with tap installation.
Perform proactively while maintaining strong communications with directors.
Work as scheduled or required for production.
Compensation:

We are open to guidance and input on styles and would require recipe development. If unable to have examples of current brews available, we would appreciate 15-bbl-scale recipes for:
- West Coast IPA
- Belgian Extra (clean, clean, clean, though)
- Milk Stout
- Amber
These are not required to have as examples, but the core demographic/market of the brewpub will lean toward cleaner beers.
