Resurgence Brewing Company is seeking an experienced brewer for our 15BBL production brewery & beer garden located in Buffalo, NY. We are currently renovating an old warehouse in the West side neighborhood with our equipment arriving this December. We anticipate opening our doors early 2014.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating great beer, self-motivated, interested in building a successful startup, enjoy working in a team environment, and comfortable with all aspects of the brewing process.
Duties will include recipe formulation and scale-up, all aspects of production, raw material selection, inventory control, yeast handling, process equipment cleaning/sanitization, operation, maintenance and repair. Other duties may also be assigned as needed. Essential skills include basic computer skills, ability to maintain detailed records, compliance with safety and regulatory issues, and problem solving. The position will require lifting approximately 55 pounds, working in hot and cold temperatures, and sometimes a varying schedule.
