**Head Brewer Needed in Richmond, VA**
Garden Grove Brewing Company is seeking a highly energetic/motivated Head Brewer for a full-time, entry level position in Richmond, VA.
Garden Grove Brewing Co. is a start-up brewery with the goal of opening April/May 2014, but will need assistance of our Head Brewer starting immediately. We are a micro-brewery that will be using a 7-8 BBL set-up; our Head Brewer will have the opportunity to place his/her input and request specific equipment they require/prefer. Garden Grove will focus on beers such as Belgians, Pilsners, IPAs and will be one of the first in the Richmond craft beer market to offer a Gluten-free beer and Sour Ale.
Qualities of an ideal candidate are, but not limited to, will:
Show proficiency in brewing quality craft beers (control of temperatures, taste, color etc...)
Display extreme attention to detail
Show a high regard for safety of him/herself and others around
Functions well in a small team environment
Great communications skills
Have knowledge on the mechanics of each piece of equipment and will know how to perform daily/weekly/monthly cleaning of each
Ability to be open to a wide range of suggestions/experimentation of products
Ability to keep a clean/organized working environment
