A brewery in Wilson, North Carolina is seeking an experienced head brewer to assist in development from a concept up to completion of a 10 bbl brewery. The company is looking for someone seeking the opportunity to have a hands-on input in building out the brewery. From helping select a brewing system to creating recipes, the head brewer will have a hand in building a new brewery from the ground up. The head brewer will be offered a competitive salary.
The head brewer will be charged with the following responsibilities:
- Develop company recipes
- Direct and supervise brewing operations and staff
- Coordinate ordering of ingredients and maintaining appropriate brewing supplies
- Plan and coordinate brewing schedules
- Attend events and festivals to promote company
- Communicate the company brand to customers, media outlets, and distributors
- Work with President to coordinate production and manage staff
This individual will require vision and experience commensurate with the needs of the brewery. The partners are looking for someone who will share the vision for the brewery, and shares the same goals as the partners for where the company can go.
