Summary:
The Packaging line operator is responsible for aiding in the overall successful operation of the bottling and canning lines. Bottling/Canning/Packaging experience a big plus.
The Packaging line operator must be detail oriented and able to work effectively at a fast pace for extended periods of time. He/She must be entirely focused on the packaging line while it is in operation to anticipate and identify potential problems, maintain maximum efficiency and ensure safety. He/She must be internally motivated and able to work a flexible schedule including, on occasion, nights, weekends and holidays. The Packaging line operator is expected to become well acquainted with the mechanics of the bottling and canning lines so that he or she can assist maintenance manager with mechanical failures etc.
While the Packaging line operator is primarily responsible for packaging line operations, he or she must be a hard-working team player that is willing to take on any job that is asked of him or her for the successful operation of the brewery.

Primary Responsibilities:
*Packaging Line Operations
Learn all bottling and canning line duty positions
Build case boxes if necessary
Prepare bottling and canning lines for operation
Man bottling and canning lines during operation
Assist in sanitation of bottling and canning lines
Ordering of all packaging materials
logs for packaging machines
*Other Operations
Truck loading
Cooperage inventory
Inventory
Cleaning
Overall appearance of the packaging rooms- cleanliness & organization
Assist other staff when necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
•Education: High School or equivalent.
•Valid driver’s license and fork-lift experience
•Proficient communication in English (verbal and written)
•Basic computer skills
•Must be flexible and adaptable to change and willing to do any job that is required for successful brewery operations.
