    Job Description:

GoodLife Brewing Company is hiring for the position of Washington State Sales Representative. This highly enthusiastic, beer lover will have the unique opportunity to be apart of an up and coming brewery from the ground floor. This role will be in charge of growing a significant piece of business in the State of Washington with the three main components of the job being: building distributor partnerships, market development and growth, and establishing account relationships.

    Responsibilities (but not limited to):
    Building Distributor Partnerships:
    • Build impactful partnerships with all distributors by adding more value than competitors through the contributions of GoodLife people, sales systems, brands, brand support tools, and a generally good-natured way of doing business that is uniquely GoodLife.
    • Effectively work with distributors to execute sales and marketing objectives through weekly promos/tastings, work-withs, staff training, new package placements, new draft placement, and merchandising accounts.
    • Should become recognized as the distributor’s preferred supplier.

    Market Development and Growth

    • Able to achieve specified account goals as provided by GoodLife manager.
    • Ensure that GoodLife’s brand integrity is never compromised.
    • Visit approximately 10-15 accounts per day and have the ability to work the market at all hours of the day/night.
    • Develop market profile target lists, etc.

    Establishing Account Partnerships

    • Build strong partnerships with the Top 100 key accounts, on and off-premise, and service existing accounts.
    • Provide key accounts all reasonable and cost effective brand support needs, and also keeps accounts informed about what’s new from GoodLife.
    • Perform regular business reviews with the top 2-5 accounts twice a year.
    • Be thoroughly acquainted with every key decision maker or decision influencer in the entire territory.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Must be able to live the “GoodLife” with anyone, at anytime.
    • Strong knowledge of the craft brewing industry and the desire to learn more.
    • Highly organized (planning and scheduling) and able to work independently.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new environments.
    • Proven track record in sales and account management, presentation skills, and quality assurance.
    • Can tell the story of the brewery and its products with sharp knowledge and crisp imagery.
    • Excellent driving record.
    • Must have reliable source of transportation.
    • Must have or acquire Alcohol Servers Permit.
    • Basic computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
    • Administrative tasks:
    • Ability to complete company’s administration requirements on time and regularly such as: expense reports, monthly recaps, monthly calendar, budget management, daily e-mail responses, weekly call reporting, etc.
    • Must have a good understanding of distributor protocol, how to work with distributors to get successful results, grassroots brand building, and how to identify and analyze market trends.
    • Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills.

    Compensation is based on previous experience.
