Well established craft beer bar and restaurant located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn is seeking to brew our own beer in the basement with possibly a 2 or 3bbl system.
We are currently seeking to hire a brewer to help with the design and purchase of the brewing equipment with the possibility of a fulltime/partime head brewer position and start brewing beer for sale by the spring/summer depending on equipment lead time.
Here is a basic breakdown of what we are thinking:
1) Decide on equipment needed and order ASAP
2) File the required paper work with the SLA and city
3) We can purchase a Sabco brewmagic to develop recipes while waiting for the new equipment and SLA approval, Sabco system will be used for pilot batches in the future.
