Berkshire Mountain Distillers , a craft distillery located in Southwestern Massachusetts ( Sheffield / Great Barrington ) is looking for a regional salesperson . Duties to include ; coverage of the region ( with occasional trips out of the local area ), opening and maintaining accounts , distributor education , event planning and attendance .
Applicant should ; be versed in the three tier system , have a knowledge of the alcohol industry ( we are open to educating the right applicant in the world of spirits ) , be self motivated , well organized , computer literate , goal driven and have a clean driver's record . Being able to shake a good cocktail is a plus , but not required.
The Berkshire's are known as the world's premiere resort area , two and a half hours from both NYC and Boston , we have more culture than you can shake a stick at , two ski " mountains " - a wonderful mix of country living and city influence . Berkshire Mountain distillers is in the process of building a new distillery in Sheffield MA where we will offer tours and retail sales .
